Happy Monday!!! Denim jeans never go out of fashion. They’ve been around ever since I was a little girl. And they’ll still be a high fashion trend in 2018. It’s the same with a denim jacket and skirt– you’ll always have good use for one. They can be mini, maxi, tight, flared or pencil. If you’re young, then a short denim skirt is fantastic. (Even if you’re not so young actually). Have a look at some denim skirts. I have included some links to skirts or styles like these if you are interested in them.
The weather this past weekend has been cooler and crisp. It felt more like October than September! Putting together an outfit when it’s almost Fall, and you still trying to drag out summer a little longer because I’m not ready for Fall season yet, isn’t always the easiest task, in my opinion. The denim skirt ended up being the perfect peace to create a Fall look for this transitional weather. Is there anything more classic than a denim skirt? It’s a timeless piece that I don’t see ever truly going out of style.
I purchased this Arizona Asymetrical Denim Skirt from JCPenney a month ago, and it has been a favorite item in my closet since. I love the asymmetrical style, as it’s flattering and sexy looking, and it’s very comfortable. Denim skirts can be worn year around by switching up the top ( longer sleeves during cooler months, short sleeves during warmer months). I paired mine with a Belle + Sky Smocked Peplum Blouse from JCPenney as well. I love off the shoulder tops, I purchased three colors in this same style last year and wore them almost every day last Spring and Summer. They are so lightweight and comfy!
