How do you pronounce it and what does it mean? BRIOGEO (bree-oh-jhee-oh) Brio = vivid, full of life, distinct; Geo = of earth, nature.
You know when you have a new beauty find and you just want to shout it from the rooftops? You think “It is my duty to help other women and I must share!”. There aren’t actually that many hair brands that work for my fine, thick & wavy hair. I have tried some really cheap-o brands ,and most of them are just meh. When I want curls, this is my new go-to brand.
I’m always down for trying new products, especially when it comes to hair care. Recently I received hair care products from Briogeo. These products were the Hydrating Shampoo, Defining Conditioner, Leave-in Defining Cream, Frizz control Gel.
Hydrating Shampoo is perfect for any hair type or texture. It’s gentle on hair– including color treated hair (like mine), and it’s made with shea butter and avocado oil. No sulfates, parabens, silicones or phthalates, if you’re avoiding those ingredients. The formula is made with 95% naturally derived ingredients.
Leave-In Defining Cream: Love this cream! The scent of this is amazing, the shine it gives my hair is out of this world. A little dab will do you, lasts a long time! This stuff is worth every penny, just awesome stuff!!
Defining Conditioner: gives me CRAZY curls! I looove it!! It doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. It’s made with rice amino acids, marine-derived collagen, rose hip oil. almond oil, tomato fruit ferment and mollis leaf extract, bamboo, orange peel, Vit E and shea butter. It does have keratin amino acids ( from wool) and silk proteins, so it’s cruelty free but not vegan. Sounds like it would weigh down hair, but it doesn’t. The best thing for me to do is squeeze gently and pat dry with a microfiber hair towel. Then scrunch my curls (maybe add a little styling product) and then air dry. Or I can dry with a diffuser if I don’t have time to let it dry.
Frizz Control Gel: This stuff really works. I simply put a small portion of gel on my hair, blow-dry it and VOILA!!! This is a pure magic. My hair is about as frizzy as an Asian woman’s hair can get but this is one of the only few products that never fails me. Use it on clean, wet hair prior to a blow out ( blow dry) and or curling. It feels like it makes the hair shafts more gripper (supple), which it turn makes the, blend nicer together then more receptive to the curling heat; and it does last for approx. 3 days ( if you don’t wet or wash), which I have no problem doing with a little dry conditioner spray. I cannot recommend this enough!!!!
