Being a mom is enough.

Being a mom is enough.

I love being a Mom and watching my kids grow up! It’s so sad, but simply amazing all at the same time. Can you just check out these three? They love each other. Just so you know guys, these babies of mine woke up so early for this shoot. That’s how much they love their momma. My heart just melted.

Instead of having brunch or dinner or even breakfast in bed, my kids decided to throw me an early surprise Mother’s Day & they prepared a picnic of yummy desserts with the help of my husband, Phil. They washed fruit and veggies and placed them on a plate with some baked cherry pie ? .Together we all sat out in the sunshine and snacked on the food. It was simple and delightful.

Being mom is so hard, but so Rewarding!

Yesterday my poor little man got sick so we spent lots of time snuggling on the bed. I hated seeing him not feeling well, but I have to admit the snuggle time was wonderful. So yes, I cancelled my trip to Dallas for Hammitt’s 9th Anniversary Party & Sale-bration as part of my collaboration with them and put some work on hold in order to take care of my baby and make sure that he got better. I’m going to be honest here and admit that one of the hardest things about being a mom can be having to suddenly put your life on hold and change your plans when you have a sick kid or can’t find childcare.

Last week I realized that I’m finally getting used to this aspect of being a momma of 3 and I actually appreciate the way that being a mom a third time around has made me slightly less up-tight. A dirty kitchen, missed workout time, or an unexpected change of plans used to turn my world upside down and now I am learning to go-with-the-flow a little bit more. I’m thankful that motherhood is teaching me about what’s important in life and what’s not worth stressing about. I’m a work in progress and I certainly still stress out when things don’t go as planned, but I’m getting there. Slowly, but surely. One day at a time.

Moms, in what ways has having a child changed you for the better or worse?

It won’t be long until Mother’s Day is upon us again and it’s time to start thinking about gorgeous gift ideas. Fossil, if you aren’t already aware of the, are an American brand and a leading country brand, ideally suited and probably originally aimed at those who love the great watches. I have to be honest, I’d never really thought of Fossil for handbags and wallets because I did see them as more on selling watches but it made me see them in a new light! I actually hadn’t thought that they would stock such gorgeous handbag like the one I’m modelling for them. A quick furtle around their website during my tea-break shows they have lots of other gorgeous bags available too. I might have found somewhere new to fulfill my bag needs!

If you’re looking for something lovely for the lady ( Moms, wives or girlfriends) in your life- or just as a treat to yourself, I highly recommend a trip down to FOSSIL!

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a fabulous Mother’s Day weekend!
