FOR MY SELF AND MY FAMILY : Leading an active life is something that I am super passionate about, and for me personally, it’s just something that I love doing. Being healthy and living my best lifestyle is important not only for ME (so I can be a happy, healthy person) but also for my kids, so they see the way I live and have a good role model to look up to! Plus, I want to be healthy for them, so I can (hopefully!) live a long healthy life and be around for quite some time. It’s not selfish AT ALL to want to take care of myself first. A happy mama means a happy life! Something like that.
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS: Enhance your focus by completely closing out any distractions from the outside by taking the time to concentrate on the present moment and being actively aware of your surroundings and feelings.
SET GOALS: Start off small and secure, setting easy and reachable goals for yourself. As time goes on, increase the difficulty of achieving each following goal. As you see progress you’ll find your dedication increases. Remember – Rome wasn’t built in a day!
STAY ACTIVE: And another reason to eat healthy and stay active? Simple. Because I enjoy it! I feel better when I’m fueling my body with the proper nutrients (plus, I honestly just really love healthy food! It’s delicious- well, most of it!) and I really love a good sweat session. When those endorphins start flowing, and the adrenaline pumps, and the sweat starts dripping, I am ALL IN. I live for that type of workout. It’s so good for the soul. And, ya know, added bonus: It’s good for the body too.
MAKE IT FUN: No matter what you do, it’s important have fun. After all, having fun is not only enjoyable, it is also good for you! If you feel you’re starting to get bored or reluctant to work, try to make up new ways on how to complete tasks. Not only will it boost commitment, it will also increase your creativity!
