Happy Monday lovelies! I cannot believe Valentines Day is almost here! How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? In today’s look, I’m featuring everything I got from Target. When I first heard that one of my favorite fashion blogs, WHO WHAT WEAR, was teaming up with Target for an affordable line of clothes and accessories, I knew it was going to be great. In case you didn’t know, overalls are back. And have been for a while. Not only is this trend from the ’80s and ’90s insanely comfortable, but they are also practical and incredibly stylish.
But they can also be difficult to wear. In terms of styling, it’s important to make them look as modern as possible. Avoid flannel shirts, thin-strap tops and anything else that could make you look like a 5 -year- old or a farmer. Haha!! Instead, opt for chic blouses, tees and crisp white shirts. Remember, fit is key. If you have a longer or shorter torso, try and find a pair of overalls with adjustable straps so there is no gapping (or pulling) in the crotch area. Choose grown-up accessories. To avoid looking like a toddler in overalls, leave the bows, backpacks and pig tails at home. Instead, go for structured bags, sleek gold jewelry and a topknot to finish your look.
Seriously!!! How cute is this blanket scarf from Target? Winter comes with a lot of mustS in terms of looks, and scarves are among them, so we might as well make the best of it and do the trend. It’s not only easy to pull off, but super affordable, and quite necessary one might add. Well… imagine you’re home and you’re cold, watching TV or having coffee with a friend and you just pull over your shoulders your favorite blanket. THAT’s the idea, I think. Effortless.
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Valentines Day!
