Sporty chic

Are you guys ready for the weekend? I’m always excited for the weekends. Why? Because my  Saturday routine is incredibly precious to me. It’s a day of doing my grocery shopping, lunching with my kiddos, preferably on the couch, and then it’s off for dinner and a movie or a fun night with my family or sometimes with friends. Well, all of this can’t be done when wearing high heels ( only if you’re a super woman). So when its a busy weekend, I love to trade in my heels for slip-ons or sneakers. When I saw these Adidas Superstar sneakers it felt as if they were made for me. I haven’t really seen sneakers who could pull that cuteness off without losing their sporty vibe. It really is the perfect combination of sporty and girly chic in one. To keep the contrast in my look I matched a BCBG dress with a huge blanket scarf over my neck, which is perfect for cool fall days wearing it with  big sunglasses like these from Prada. With this look I used my Nicole Lee Exclusive fragrance citrus green . Citrus green is a real treat for the true perfume addicts. It smells like a fresh out of the shower scent. This would be lovely on a spring / summer day; sweet but still refreshing.

    Weekends are such precious commodities, aren’t they 🙂 we spend time watching The Black List together or The Big Bang Theory, or catch a movie or, as in the case of my 16 year old, we go for massages. My husband and I tend to have gym dates LOL I love your sports chic outfit, and the way you’re pulling off those kicks so nicely. I always feel conscious when I wear kicks outside of the gym, I feel like such a fraud!! And those who can, like you, wear them ever beautifully, have my greatest admiration (ok, ok, and some envy too) xoxoxo
