Most Moms will admit that those first few weeks after giving birth are the most challenging, and as a Mom of a newborn myself, in spite of the fact that he’s my third, I am no exception. Due to new demands of caring for a tiny baby and trying to figure out how to keep our home and family balanced, all while trying to recover, we very quickly find ourselves sleep-deprived, hungry, feeling run-down, perhaps exhausted, and often, can’t remember when my last shower was. lol!! 

I keep reminding myself that this season of motherhood is temporary. It’s such a short phase, and goes by so quickly. I want to enjoy the slowed pace, and try to focus on snuggling, nursing, resting as much as possible, and caring for myself and my new bundle of heaven. 

 On today’s post I’m featuring my new MONACO BLUE ZIP SHOULDER DRESS from Cabana Life. Cabana Life has masterfully figured out how to protect the whole family without sacrificing a stitch of style. This gorgeous dress is my new favorite cover up. I mean look. at. it! Amazing color, darling shape and fit, and it is seriously so beautiful in person. I even wanted to wear it to dinner it is that chic and comfortable. I often reach for white beach cover ups but this beautifully fresh print is exactly what my beach wardrobe needed to perk itself up!     Len can we just talk about how by just looking at you I would never know you just had a baby nevermind that it is your third one! You look so amazing. I can only imagine how tired you are with a newborn around. I found it difficult to get sleep when I bought my kitten never mind a baby!

    For a mommy of three you definitely do look good. I am sure you will find balance in no time if you have not already.
    I love that dress, that bag is a perfect accessory too. One can sneak a few dresses in when she goes shopping and hide them from the husband lol.

    Love the dress – and you’re doing exactly what you should do – reminding yourself that this phase, as are all phases, is temporary. Eventually it will get a bit easier to manage everything on your plate once you get into a new rhythm with your sweet new one <3
