Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 11th year wedding anniversary. Time flies so fast! More than a decade of love, laughter’s and fun, and let’s not forget the hardship, arguments, petty quarrels that we had to make this relationship last. We still have a lot of struggles to encounter but I know we can surpass anything as long as we are willing and choosing to love each other. The rest of our anniversary weekend ( we decided to make it a weekend event because it fell on a Sunday) consisted of .. Friday: a whole day shopping at the mall. Saturday: Mexican food + movie date, The Boy. Sunday: Steak House, Homemade surprise breakfast, church, cuddling with the kids, flowers, pictures and cake!

Anyhoo! For today’s post, I pulled together some of my recent haul from Black Friday and this beautiful holiday handbag.  A simple fall look featuring a gorgeous red scarf / wrap that is the softest thing ever! Plus I also got to use my red handbag from STYLEWE which I really like it and I think that I will use it a lot in the future.  I could not stop looking at how beautiful this bag was when I first got it. It looked just as I wanted to look! This purse is very pretty and perfect for any occasion. The bag is structured well, especially the straps! All of the zippers work smoothly and have a good weight to them. Plus the bag is a good sized handbag and has enough room for everything you’d need to carry going about your day to day life.

    Happy, happy anniversary! 11 years is a BIG MILESTONE!!! We celebrated 14 Years this year! Each year we get stronger and closer through the bumpy and joyful ride of parenthood and married life!     Congratulations on your 11th wedding anniversary! Yes, relationships are this way – many things to adjust, but love gathers two souls, for sure! Nice weekend, for sure, with shopping, Mixican food and church! Loved your outfit, the title of the post reminded me of a movie, where the protagonist wrote a column for a newspaper called “The girl with the green scarf”. And yours is red, my favorite color!     HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, beautiful! I wish you both a lifetime of love and friendship. I’ve been with my husband for 10 years, married for 8 and I agree with everything you’ve mentioned here, with the amount of time, there’s definitely a lot of ups and downs and toughing it out and having patience with one another is definitely something to celebrate and acknowledge.
