Here’s my third look from Target. There are scarves, and then there are blanket scarves. Put the word ‘blanket” in front of any piece of clothing and you know it’s gonna be made perfect for the cozy season. A blanket scarf is different from other types of scarves. They are square, and often very large, just like a blanket! They’re my favorite type of scarf because they’re INCREDIBLY cozy. Just imagine wrapping yourself up in your softest blanket and wearing it all day! I usually put my hair in a pony tail ( that alone makes them easier to wear) when I’m wearing blanket scarf like this but I decided not to ponytail my hair in this shoot. Anyway, one of the best parts about winter (these days) is that it’s socially acceptable to wrap yourself in a blanket in public and call it a fashion statement. I, for one, take advantage of this little trend nearly every day… but I’ll admit that learning how to actually tie a blanket scarf was quite the challenge. So I always leave it hanging down casually for an easy style accessory. For a while, it really did look like I was a crazy woman with a throw blanket wrapped around my neck.
