Light In The Box Winter Coat (1st Outfit)

Yellow is the most luminous of all the colors of the spectrum. It’s the color that captures our attention more than any other color.In almost every culture yellow represents sunshine, happiness, and warmth. In the natural world, yellow is the color of sunflowers and daffodils, egg yolks and lemons, canaries and bees. In our contemporary human-made world, yellow is the color of Sponge Bob, the Tour de France winner’s jersey, happy faces, post its, and signs that alert us to danger or caution.

In today’s post I’m featuring my winter coat from Light In The Box. Embracing Fall and all it has to offer means it’s time to pack away your summer wardrobe and start planning outfits that will see you through the Autumn months ahead. I have been working with Light In the Box since I started this blog. When they asked me to work with them this Fall I jumped at the chance. The start of a new season is the most exciting time for anyone with a passion for fashion!

 It pays to invest in quality pieces that offer versatility and longevity. The new range at Light In The Box clothing does just that and really ticks those boxes. Both stylish and current, the range contain key items for the season and most importantly it incorporates those classic timeless pieces that you will want to wear again and again. The Key to making one of this season’s hottest colors work for you is knowing exactly how to wear it and how to make it work with the rest of your wardrobe. Yellow is a great color not only in the summer also in the Fall and winter. Yellow goes with practically anything in my opinion! But avoid dressing yourself in head to toe yellow as the impact and overall effects is lost. If your shoes and dress are yellow, your bag should be in different color. Wear one piece or two at a time and it will maintain an element of sophistication and ooze style.

The sweater (2nd outfit)

Yellow sits beautifully alongside black, navy, brown and denim.. and don’t forget how good it can also look against floral print, brown otk boots and black. it’s hard not to notice the biggest colour statement of the season! Although yellow suits most skin tones not everyone feels confident about wearing such a striking colour. Accessories are the best way to introduce a bold colour into your wardrobe. Adding a splash of yellow to your outfit couldn’t be simpler! 

An absolute essential in any wardrobe. If you don’t already own one… you need to!!! When it comes to choosing a sweater the choice is simple: Go for a yellow one! ( my opinion) It has a slightly more casual feel to it than red or black and works effortlessly. Slogans have been around for some time now but this Fall there is a definite trend to let your clothes do the talking.
