A few summer-like styles have sort of floated into fall and this includes velvet dresses and velvet shoes. I’m sure you’ve seen those velvet dresses all over social media recently and well, here’s another. I feel like pleated dresses are just so easy and figure flattering. I know some people may disagree, but I find them to be a garment that can be worn by any shape and size. For me personally I’ve always been a fan of velvet, though the only problem with velvet is that they can be overdone very easily; and that’s what so tricky about styling them. This is why I am such a big fan of these cute velvet dresses because the pleats are just perfect!

Here I am wearing a faux fur coat from a new day via Target for only $40! Not only was the coat super comfortable and cozy, but it also added some color to my outfit which was a plus. I paired it with a blue velvet Chanel bag. I decided to match my velvet dress and wear my velvet shoes from Amazon Fashion.
